Bomb Techs Without Borders Partners with SensusQ to Advance Mine Awareness Technology

Bomb Techs Without Borders is proud to share that we recently collaborated with SensusQ on a concept and analysis paper outlining the design for a future Mine Awareness and Reporting App to support civilians, volunteers, and first responders operating in UXO-affected areas. Our work focused on defining the structure, safety requirements, and user experience of a tool that would allow people to:
- Report UXOs safely (even offline)
- Receive alerts when approaching hazardous areas
- Identify munitions using BTWOB’s UXO ID Guide
- Share verified information with emergency services and EOD teams

“The goal is to allow people to report without putting them in danger, while strengthening the flow of information to those who keep communities safe.”

This analysis paper was developed for internal planning and partner discussions and will help guide future development efforts with organizations committed to protecting civilians and improving mine awareness across Ukraine.
